REVISED: CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE AND LIABILITY FOR TRAVEL BY LAND, SEA, AND AIR
When you travel by land, sea, or air, the carrier you choose will have its own set of conditions of carriage that you must follow. If you are traveling by sea, the Athens Convention 1974 applies to the carriage of passengers and their luggage. These provisions and the sea carrier’s conditions of carriage may apply throughout your stay on board the ship, including during boarding and disembarkation. If your baggage is delayed, damaged, or lost, you must complete a Passenger Irregularity Report (PIR) at the airport.
If the air carrier that performs your flight is different from the contracting air carrier, you have the right to make a claim for damages or address a complaint against either carrier. If the ticket indicates the name or code of an airline, that airline is the contracting air carrier. You must bring any legal action for damages within two years of the date of arrival to the aircraft or the date on which the aircraft should have arrived. These rules are based on the Montreal Convention of 28th May 1999, which is implemented in the Community by Regulation EC No. 2017/97, as amended by Regulation (EC) No. 889/2002, and national legislation of the member states. If you require a copy of the conditions of carriage applicable to your holiday, you may request one.
Several governments are introducing new requirements for air carriers to provide personal information about all passengers on their aircraft to the authorities before the aircraft leaves the departure country. This data may be collected when you check in at the airport or after you make your booking. You should allow extra time to check in for your flight to comply with these requirements. If the airline cancels or makes a major change to your flight less than 30 days before departure, they may pay compensation. However, this compensation does not exclude you from claiming more if you are entitled to do so. The airline will treat any personal information collected in accordance with its privacy policy.
The airline will not be liable or pay compensation if an event occurs that affects their contractual obligations to you, and they could not foresee or avoid it, even with all due care. These events include but are not limited to war, civil strife, terrorist activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority, industrial dispute, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster, and adverse weather, sea, ice, and river conditions. Advice from the Foreign Office to avoid or leave a particular country may also constitute force majeure.
Your holiday may include services provided by independent suppliers, such as ground arrangements, transfers, theme park tickets, and excursions. These suppliers provide their services according to their own terms and conditions, which will form part of your contract with us. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier’s liability to you, usually in accordance with applicable international conventions. Copies of these terms and conditions are displayed on your relevant documentation and are available on request from the supplier.
Events Bookings
This section pertains to all bookings of Events and Event Tickets made through our website http://www.skylinery.com/. We would like to inform you that we have no control or involvement in the Events or Event Tickets, and therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise during an Event, such as cancellations or postponements.
Admittance and Behaviour
When you book an event ticket through our website, please note that the event organizer, venue officials, or local police control admission to the event. Our responsibility is limited to providing you with a ticket, and we cannot guarantee admission to the event. It is your responsibility to behave in a manner that is acceptable for the event. If you or anyone in your party behaves unreasonably, you may be denied entry to the venue or be asked to leave the venue. We have no control or responsibility over such circumstances, and we cannot be held liable for any resulting losses or damages.
Loss of Event Ticket
In the event that you lose or damage your ticket before an event, please notify our affiliated partner as soon as possible, and they will make every effort to assist you. However, please be aware that in some cases, venues, officials, clubs, memberships, organizers, or hosts may not be able to reissue or produce replacement or duplicate tickets. Please note that http://www.skylinery.com/ will not be held responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
Event Tickets and Admissions
Skylinery.com is not responsible for determining or enforcing eligibility criteria for events or venues, but we reserve the right to verify your eligibility before accepting your booking. Please note that even if we check your eligibility, we do not guarantee that you meet the criteria, and it is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all requirements before and during the event. Some tickets sold by our partners may only be available to fans of a specific team, and if you violate these restrictions, your booking may be cancelled before or during the event.
Additionally, certain events or venues may have strict security measures in place, such as baggage checks and screening. Please allow sufficient time to comply with these security arrangements.
Transfer and Re-sale of Tickets
The tickets that we provide to you as part of your package are always subject to the terms and conditions set by the event organizer.
Cancelation terms and conditions:
Please note that all holiday, flight, car rental, and event bookings are subject to cancellation terms and conditions. If you need to cancel your booking, you must inform our service provider partners in writing and over the phone as soon as possible. Once your booking has been canceled, you will receive a cancellation invoice.
Please be aware that there may be cancellation fees if you decide not to travel as originally booked and confirmed. Some of these fees may be recoverable through your insurance cover, but they typically increase as the departure date approaches.
Air/Flights Bookings
At the departure airport on the day of travel, you will need to check in at the desk. Please note that many airlines operate on a code-share basis with their commercial partners, which means that a flight may be operated on behalf of one carrier by a partner airline, and may have more than one flight number. As a result of the code-share agreement, a different partner airline may fly the route or part of the route, with a different aircraft seat configuration.
Most airlines offer e-ticketing for certain routes, which means that you will only receive an electronic confirmation of your reservation. We cannot be held responsible if you do not receive your e-ticket confirmation due to an incorrect email address or your spam/junk email settings. To ensure that you receive your e-tickets, please add our service provider partners to your “safe site” list. You must also notify them immediately if you change your email address or contact telephone number after making a booking with our partner service providers. Additionally, please check that the name on your passport matches the name on your ticket and/or booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to advise us if you have not received your e-ticket confirmation or if there are any issues with names, etc.
Please note that all departure/arrival times on your flight ticket are estimates provided by the airlines, and are subject to change, even at short notice. These changes may occur due to air traffic control restrictions, weather conditions, operational/maintenance requirements, and the requirement for passengers to check in on time. We are not liable if there is any change to a departure/arrival time previously given to you or shown on your ticket or for any other alteration to your flight by the relevant airline. Please also note that if you do not utilize a sector of a flight itinerary without contacting the carrier directly, any remaining sectors may be subject to cancellation without further notification. Failure to utilize the outbound sector will, in most cases, result in the forfeiture of the inbound flight. In the event of any of the above situations, we are unable to accept responsibility for any losses or costs incurred. Therefore, you are required to reconfirm your flights with the airline in accordance with their terms and conditions and applicable reconfirmation deadline. It is your responsibility to check the departure and arrival times of your flight at the time of travel. Please note that airline flight timings are provided on the 24-hour clock. We are unable to make any special arrangements for you if you are delayed, as these matters are at the sole discretion of the airline concerned and their handling agents at the relevant airports. Please note that the times shown on your ticket or itinerary are the departure times of the flight, and check-in times, as advised by the carrier or in the airline’s timetable, are the latest times at which passengers can be accepted for travel, allowing the necessary time to complete all formalities. Flights cannot be held up for passengers arriving late, and no responsibility can be accepted by us or the airline in such cases.
We have no control over the airlines’ allocation of seats, so if you have a particular seat request, you should purchase your required preference at the time of booking your flights, or alternatively, you should check in at the airport as early as possible if you do not wish to pre-book your seat. There is a charge involved for all pre-bookable seats, and these charges vary depending on the seat allocation. We cannot guarantee that any requests will be met.
Please note that a flight described on your flight ticket as “direct” will not necessarily be non-stop. A flight that is described as direct is one where there is no need to change aircraft during the journey.
Most airlines refuse to carry women who will be 28 weeks or more pregnant on the date of return travel. Please check with the airline concerned as their.
Hotel Bookings
The availability and pricing of all hotels listed on http://www.skylinery.com/ are subject to change without prior notice, and we shall not be held responsible for any liability resulting from such changes. The following terms and conditions for hotel bookings constitute a binding agreement between you and our service provider partner, and apply to all bookings made through telephone, fax, email, or our online system. It is your responsibility to review all documentation related to your booking and notify our partners immediately if any details are incorrect.
As an affiliate booking search engine, we are not liable for any accommodation arrangements and specifically do not accept any responsibility for illness, injury, death, or any other loss. Any claims for damages or injuries arising from your stay must be directed towards the accommodation provider, and are subject to the laws of the country where the accommodation is located. It is important to inform the property management and our supplier immediately of any such events, as failure to do so may result in rejection of any claim.
While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our website and price list, errors or omissions may occur. Circumstances beyond our control, such as withdrawal of certain facilities or room types by the accommodation providers, may also impact the availability of listed hotels. Please note that your chosen hotel is supplied by a third-party agency, which may have its own cancellation policies in addition to those of the hotel.
